Who pays for storage?
You do, directly to your storage provider — Dropmoxie never charges for storage. With DigitalOcean Spaces that's $5 a month for the first 250 GiB, plus 2 cents per extra GiB (October 2026 prices).
Do team members need to pay?
No. Only the team owner needs Pro. Invite as many people as you like.
What happens if Pro runs out?
Your team keeps working and nobody loses access to files. You just can't invite new people or change folder permissions until you renew.
Can I leave whenever I want?
Yes. Your files are ordinary objects in your own bucket, stored at their real paths. Any S3 tool can read them, with or without Dropmoxie.
Which storage providers work?
DigitalOcean Spaces today. Other S3-compatible providers such as AWS S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, Cloudflare R2 and MinIO are next.
Can Dropmoxie see my files?
Your Macs upload and download straight to and from your bucket. Our servers only handle file bytes when someone opens one of your share links, and they stream them without keeping a copy.
